I’ve always been fascinated and energized by the practice of knowing oneself. I’ve spent time engaged in my own personal investigations, dissecting problems, and being with discomfort. I am equally as interested in others’ work. When I start a relationship with a client, I ask a lot of questions. We speak every week, but I brainstorm about them between sessions, search for potentially helpful resources, or mentally hold space for pain I know they’re enduring. It’s become a lifestyle.
Some personal details about me that might be helpful: I’m 43 years old. A runner, camper, and reader. Recovering people pleaser. Lover of live music and silent retreats in the mountains. Queer. Divorced. Mother to two delightful, wild children.
Graduated from Oberlin College in 2004 and obtained a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University. In practice since 2010.
